Haribo, creator of Tangfastics and Starmix, is set to open its first store in Scotland. Opening at Silverburn Glasgow later this year, the store will be the brand’s 12th UK location and will take the title of the northern-most Haribo store in the world.

The 2,500sq ft store will offer a range of products, including an exclusive “Pick Your Mix” station where visitors will be able to find over 30 varieties of Haribo and Maoam treats to try.

Rebecca Fox, head of retail at Haribo UK, said: “We’re so excited to be opening our first Haribo retail store in Scotland. It’s something we’ve wanted to do for a while, so it’s a dream come true to share the news with our fans – especially those based in Scotland!

“Fresh from the success of opening our most recent store, in Bluewater, we can’t wait to bring the magic to life when Goldbear opens our doors later this year in Silverburn.”

Alberto Esguevillas, CEO of UK retail at Eurofund ,added: “We are pleased to have been selected as the location for Haribo’s first Scottish store. It is a much-loved brand and a very welcome addition to our ever-evolving offer that continues to enhance Silverburn’s status as the leading Scottish retail and leisure destination.”
