LCP, part of M Core, has signed Specsavers as the latest tenant at M Park Farm Shopping Centre in Allestree, Derby.

Specsavers has signed a 10-year lease on unit 51, a 2,526sq ft retail space, at the Allestree shopping destination. With the new store now open, Specsavers will join other major retail brands including Boots, Co-op Food, Farmfoods and Wilko’s at the centre.

Simon Eatough, director at LCP, part of M Core, said: “M Park Farm is a well-established shopping centre in Derby suburb, Allestree, comprised over 50 stores ranging from small independent retailers and salons to major national retailers and food outlets.

“The signing of Specsavers, further reflects our commitment to securing a mix of established brands and exciting new retailers to meet the needs of the local community.”

Ishvinder Bancil, optometrist director at Specsavers Allestree, said: “We’re delighted to be launching a new store and welcoming customers through the doors. There’s been a lot of hard work going on behind the scenes to get the store ready and we’re looking forward to helping the local community with their vision and hearing needs. We’re also really excited to be part of this fabulous community. We’ve already had so much support and wonderful feedback that we feel incredibly welcome.”
