    Inditex signs at Birmingham’s Bullring

Hammerson has signed global fashion group, Inditex, at Birmingham’s Bullring to create new stores for its leading international urban fashion brands Bershka and Pull&Bear.

This latest commitment by the global fashion group demonstrates the appeal of Bullring and is reflective of Hammerson’s wider strategy to enliven its assets by introducing new brands, concepts and market firsts to engage new audiences.

Located on Bullring’s upper level next to River Island and opposite Tessuti, Levi’s, and H&M, the new 36,453sq ft space will house the two brands, each with their own dedicated entrance, bringing together Bershka’s three main lines – Bershka, BSK and Man – alongside Pull&Bear’s complete collection of menswear and womenswear.

Bershka and Pull&Bear’s first-ever West Midlands sites will join Zara’s two Bullring stores, taking Inditex’s presence at the Bullring to 76,000sq ft.

Toby Tait, director asset management at Hammerson, said: “Inditex more than doubling the size of its presence is a clear sign of their confidence in Bullring, amplified by the decision to place these two West Midlands debuts at the leading destination. Bershka and Pull&Bear will complement the extensive line-up of powerhouse names in fashion on the upper level, adding more choice for our visitors, and brands they cannot shop anywhere else in the region.”

The signing follows the news that luxury watch retailer, TAG Heuer, has opened at Bullring, debuting its new design concept and marking the brand’s first standalone showroom in Birmingham. Located on Bullring’s upper level opposite Sky, the 1,400sq ft boutique offers customers a fully immersive TAG Heuer experience.
