LabTech, owner of Camden Market, has announced the signing of four new retail operators to Buck Street Market, London’s first eco market.

Latest retailers include sustainability focused lifestyle retailer, Londonworks; male grooming brand, Sweyn Forkbeard; handmade babywear retailer, Dress Up Baby; and souvenir traders, To Home From London.

The four retailers will join over 80 other food and retail brands, all committed to sustainable practices and processes, setting a new standard for eating, drinking and shopping in London.

The innovative market is comprised of of 88 recycled shipping containers housing the retailers, with recycling points set throughout the destination, zero-plastic on-site, and composting food waste from the food and beverage traders to generate energy that will be fed back into the power grid to produce electricity.

Maggie Milosavljevic, LabTech’s retail commercial director, commented: “At Buck Street Market we are committed to delivering a revolutionary space that prioritises environmental education, conversation and positive change. Tailored towards the ‘conscious consumer’, our selection of local fashion retailers reflects our commitment towards championing sustainability, mirroring the aims held across our eco conscious food and beverage portfolio. We are confident our selection of retailers will embrace the ethical aims held by Buck Street Market, delivering a vibrant and sustainable lifestyle destination.”

LabTech acted on behalf of Buck Street Market and Londonworks, Sweyn Forkbeard, Dress Up Baby and To Home From London represented themselves.
