Lynne Glover will manage operations at South Bank retail and leisure scheme

Developer LCR has appointed Lynne Glover as centre manager for Waterloo.London, the 135,000 sq ft progressive retail and leisure development it is creating in the heart of London’s South Bank.

Bringing over 30 years’ experience in the retail industry, Lynne joins from Angel Central Shopping Centre, where she acted as centre manager for nine years. She has previously worked for CBRE, Savills, Debenhams and Buro Four.

She will manage the day-to-day running of Waterloo.London, initially working to build the project team and shape the development’s management strategy, ensuring the delivery of key milestones ahead of the scheme’s opening in Spring 2021. She will also work closely with the local community to keep them informed of the development’s progress and ensure the best possible public experience.

Lynne Glover, centre manager for Waterloo.London, said: “Waterloo.London is bringing together some of the capital’s best food, drink, leisure and retail experiences under one roof. I’m looking forward to helping to create a destination that can be enjoyed by visitors and the local community alike, contributing to the regeneration of the South Bank and creating a truly unique consumer experience.”

At its centre will be Time Out Market London – Waterloo, a food and cultural market based on the editorial curation Time Out has always been known for. It will bring the city’s best chefs, drinks and cultural experiences under one roof, all in one unique space. Time Out Market London – Waterloo will occupy two floors at Waterloo.London and accommodate around 500 seats.
