Popeyes UK has announced that it will be bringing the flavours of New Orleans to Bracknell with the launch of its new restaurant in The Lexicon at 11am on Friday January 24.

Marking its second location in Berkshire and 68th nationwide, Popeyes UK will be pulling out all the stops to showcase its New Orleans hospitality with giveaways for locals.

To celebrate the opening, on launch day the first three people in the queue will win free Chicken Sandwiches for a full year*. Plus, the first 100 customers will be treated to a free Chicken Sandwich, exclusive Popeyes UK merchandise and live entertainment from the Brass Funkeys.

At Popeyes first Berkshire opening in Reading in 2023, fans queued overnight to be the first to try the legendary Chicken Sandwich, with Popeyes UK advising customers to get down early to avoid missing out on the giveaways this time around.

Each piece of chicken is marinated for 12 hours on-site in its signature blend of Louisiana herbs and spices, then hand-breaded and battered to deliver the world-famous ‘shatter crunch,’ complemented by tasty extras like biscuits and Cajun gravy.

Tom Crowley, Popeyes UK chief executive officer, said: “Following the success of our restaurant in Reading, bringing another Popeyes to Berkshire has been on our list for a while, and we’re looking forward to reaching even more people to give them the taste of our famous Shatter-Crunchin’ fried chicken.”

The new Bracknell restaurant will be located at 45 High Street, Bracknell and brings 60 new jobs to the local area.
