Ellandi has expanded its development team to support a number of growing projects including the transformation of the Strand Shopping Centre, Bootle, on behalf of Sefton Council.

Brooke Tahau joins the team as its associate director of development. She is an experienced development manager who brings key insight, drawing from a background in commercial investment, asset management at Addington Capital and Construction Consultancy over the last 10 years. She specialises in the strategy and delivery of large-scale repurposing and redevelopment projects, with a keen understanding of working within occupied sites.

Focused on working with Ellandi’s private and public sector assets to provide meaningful regeneration to UK communities, she will join Rajiv Chadha, who leads the development activities within the business.

Chadha is a real estate development specialist, a chartered architect and a construction expert with over 37 years of experience delivering large-scale mixed-use regeneration developments from inception to completion. Notable projects include King’s Cross Granary Square, Television Centre, Battersea Power Station and Tottenham Football Stadium.

Holly Harcus, Ellandi’s development manager, is also integral to the development team. With her background as a development investment transactions manager at Aviva Investors, she brings strong analytical skills. Her primary focus is assessing the feasibility and viability of Ellandi’s various regeneration projects. As a chartered surveyor over five years of experience in development, asset management, and investment, Harcus is driven by a passion for bringing about tangible and sustainable positive transformations in town centres across the UK.

Brooke Tahau said: “It’s an exciting time to join Ellandi as it grows its regeneration portfolio across the UK. I was attracted by the company’s strong credentials in place making and development management as well as the opportunity to work with public and private sector clients. I have significant experience and expertise in this sector and I look forward to developing my skills further as we expand our regeneration projects.”

“Total transformation of retail places is an exciting pillar of our vison to create the UK’s most sustainable and inclusive communities. We are increasingly undertaking this with new public and private sector partners in addition to providing development management services to existing clients. Our diverse team embraces the full range of solutions from feasibility and master planning to large-scale delivery,”  said Mark Robinson, co-founder.
