Tony Quayle steps down as Edinburgh House Estates managing director

After 20 years with Edinburgh House Estates and following the successful launch of ESTAMA UK as a standalone business, co-founder Tony Quayle has announced he will be stepping back as managing director of both businesses.

Incumbent COO, Eoin Conway will take over the managing director role as part of the transition.

Having co-founded Edinburgh House Estates with CEO David Roberts in 2001, Quayle has taken the decision to step down as Managing Director. He will remain involved as an investor and senior consultant, continuing to support the board with his expertise.

Incoming MD and incumbent COO, Eoin Conway, has been with Edinburgh House Estates for seven years and played an integral part in the launch of ESTAMA UK as an independent property and asset management specialist earlier this year.

With over ten years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant in the property sector, Eoin brings financial expertise to his new role as MD, as well as experience and insights into the operational function of both Edinburgh House Estates and ESTAMA UK.

This transition coincides with the recent appointment of Nick Round, previously of intu, to Head of Asset & Property Management.

Incoming managing director Eoin Conway said, “I am incredibly excited to be taking on the role of MD and look forward to working closely with David to drive the business forward.  Tony has been an exceptional leader and his consultative support and insights will be very welcome as we proceed.”

Conway will officially take over Edinburgh House Estates and ESTAMA UK in January.
