McArthurGlen Group has today opened the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny. Located to the west of Paris, just 45 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe, the centre offers a shopping getaway for the French capital’s fashion lovers and the millions of tourists who visit Paris and the Normandy coast each year.

Today’s opening brings the Group’s portfolio of designer outlets to 25 sites in eight countries. McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny has become its fourth designer outlet in the French market, joining its other locations in Troyes, Roubaix and Provence.

McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny will be home to 100 stores, including high-end brands: Moncler, Tod’s, Pucci, Roberto Cavalli, Missoni, Philipp Plein, Sergio Rossi and Stella McCartney.

Also present are: Sandro, Maje, Claudie Pierlot, Zadig & Voltaire,Sessùn, Furla, Lacoste, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Fursac, Gant, Hackett, Aigle, Vanessa Bruno, Karl Lagerfeld, New Balance, Adidas,Puma, Under Armour, Victoria’s Secret, Rituals and L’Oréal.

A Dolce & Gabbana boutique will open in the coming months as will a BOSS and Nike store.

Those looking to have a treat when they visit can enjoy the centre’s own champagne bar, Bollicine, and dine at an authentic brasserie, Les Hortensias by Romain Taieb, which promises a menu of locally sourced foods when it opens in June. These F&B offerings are joined by the French gelato brand, Amorino, the Parisian macaroon temple, Ladurée, as well as Angelina serving up its hot chocolate.

Michael Natas, managing director of development at McArthurGlen Group, said: “McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny has been on the drawing board for almost 30 years, and under construction since 2019, and we’re thrilled to be opening its doors to our valued guests today. Paris-Giverny’s proposition is elevated by the centre’s contemporary and elegant architectural style – a new aesthetic for McArthurGlen that we are confident will be well-received by our customers. We are excited to have created a new tourist attraction for the Eure department and Normandy.”

Joan Jove, Co-CEO of McArthurGlen Group, said: “Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny is our most ambitious project to date. On the doorstep of one of the fashion capitals of the world, it pushes the boundaries of the retail industry with a contemporary design, the highest sustainability credentials and an exceptional premium and luxury brand offer. We are delighted to be playing our part to generate investment, economic activity and employment in the region, and look forward to providing an extraordinary McArthurGlen shopping experience for all over the years to come.”

McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny has been brought to life through the joint venture between McArthurGlen Group and Simon Property Group Co.  Spanning over 20,000sq m, the centre will create 700 new jobs for the local area.

Emmanuel Cronier, managing director Europe at Simon Property Group, said: “At Simon, we look to develop and own assets that will become true destinations for the future. We are confident that Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny will advance the growth trajectory that we have seen since the inception of our decade-long partnership with McArthurGlen.”

The region’s new shopping destination has been developed with the support of the local authorities, the Seine Normandie Agglomeration (SNA), as well as the Town Hall of Douains.
